    Default Android file manager

I am looking for a file manager that will rename files, copy files to/from a USB drive.

Proviso: it must run on android 4.4. ES File Explorer is now 5.0 and up.

I have seen Total Commander - comments please.

To backup and manage android phone data on computer, you can try an android assistant app. There're many this kind of apps, have a try

    +1 for Total Commander
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

+2 and 3... for Total Commander. What a relief when it became available for Android.
Been using it (WinCommander) since Windows 3.11
    It is "The Force"

OB, it is definitely not the same as anything else on Android and on PC it has been copied but never matched with ALL the features apart from Krusader on Linux and the best I could find for OSX is Commander One, OK but not great.

Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.

I have gone with Total Commander. As previous posters have stated it worked a treat.

The default app "Files" can perform your required actions. I think you don't need another application for that.
