    Default Nordvpn

I purchased this vpn after having Openvpn and am quite impressed, it runs 6# pc's or boxes, so have put it on the Android boxes as well . Am running this behind Kodi, but have a sons who visits very strange sites, so feel they are more protected. Posted a link to a review

I also have had Nordvpn for over a year now and highly recommend them.

So which VPN are you currently using pretending you are in Australia?

P.S..... it's not as secure as you may think.

I am not using any VPN as of now but my friend said to use one. Can you suggest me a good one especially if it's free.

You will NOT get a "good one" for free.

You get what you pay for.

There are many things to consider when looking for a VPN.

As said earlier, I highly recommend Nordvpn. I do not find it to be expensive.

Really? Then you won't mind telling us where you are in Australia and which ISP you use, because for some reason, our system suggests you are using a Pakistan ISP.

Actually I didn't want to disclose that I was using VPN as I usually use a browser based free version of Zenmate. I don't know why it's happening and don't have any idea what am I supposed to do. I am currently in Perth and using that shitty Westnet.

    I just signed up today.
Which Aussie server is the best? I find them rather slow.
    Maybe I'm expecting too much.

For torrenting I find usa servers the quickest. I get 1.3mbps compared to 1.9 without VPN.

I stay away from free VPNs, because like Tristen said, you can't really get a "good" free one, you get what you pay for.

If you have been using a free vpn on your Android device then delete it. An article i recently read and now cannot find the link said of all free vpn apps tested all down loaded crap onto your appliance and leaked info back to the developer and were nothing but a scam
As stated previously you get what you pay for and if you don't pay you dont get??

I'd be very careful of Hola if I was you.

I used to use it a few years ago but discontinued its use after I discovered that it is a peer-to-peer network.

For a full explanation see and many others.

To understand the issue here, it’s important to understand how Hola works. Since it’s a peer-to-peer VPN, users in one place (say, Europe) that want to “appear” in another place (like America) are essentially routed through a user in their desired location. That means, unless you pay for Hola premium, you act as an “exit node” for other users, similar to services like Tor........By using Hola, you’re trusting that the users connecting to you aren’t doing anything crazy, and that Hola would stop them from doing anything illegal....This would all be fine if you were just an exit node for other users, but it turns out that Hola has been aggregating and selling the bandwidth of its user “exit nodes” through a service (which Hola also owns) called Luminati.
......While Hola’s FAQ has always explained the peer-to-peer nature of the service, it never made mention of that kind of centralized control, never mentioned Luminati, and never mentioned the fact that they were essentially selling your bandwidth until very recently. This isn’t Hola’s first offense, either. You may remember when Hola was caught “testing injected ads” into its users’ browsers too. Between these two events, we no longer recommend using them, and we’ll update our guide to streaming blocked content overseas soon with a new alternative.

I personally don't use NordVPN, but what I do suggest is to hit up some sites and check out some reviews before making your decision. Make sure you focus on more than just the price, focus on the quality and what you are looking for in a VPN. Again, no free VPNs because you have to give personal info to sign up and you don't know who is on the other end of those "free" ones.
