    Default tp link dual freq router TL-WDR7400

    got this brand new router, and i am intend to replace my old dlink router DSLG604T. my house is feeded with adsl 2+ from telephone landline socket, however new tp link router does not have any adsl input and only WAN. searched greyyard and found old modem with dsl input, nothing works at all. Should i have to buy seperate adsl 2+ modem to add in ? thanks

    Yes, you need an ADSL 2+ modem.

    would adsl modem works or has to be adsl 2+ one ?

    If you have ADSL 2+ then it has to be ADSL 2+.

    You should have bought an ADSL 2+ modem/router if you wanted an all-in-one unit.

    sure, did not pay attention for that, only saw six big antennas which looks very fancy...also 1750mbps

    Don't forget, the bands and speeds are of little use if the computers at the other end don't have the ability to use them.
