Palapa D at 113E

doesn't matter about receiver. i was using satlook color hd to looking the signal.
did you get palapa 3880H or 3960H ?

Nice dish I use a KTI couldn't find Orbitron in Perth when I wanted one

are you still using a Zinwell LNB-F if so bin it because they are one of the worst Lnb's on the market.
And yes I can lock Both Topas Tv frequencies. On a side note I just went to move the dish back To Palapa to give you a screenshot and the poxy actuator just froze... Guess thats my Job for this Arvo

nah, i do not using zinwell anymore. bought better LNB from Indonesia.
KTI is good too.

can you lock Skynindo ??? I was watching that for a while until my subscription voucher/ expired and started playing with powerVu etc..(4100/4140-30000-Vertical)

Thats the oldest of my dishes its nearly 26 years old

Bought it new back then (very expensive) no I cant lock Telkom 1 but can get SES7 with the S-Band Lnbf though

my dishes was build 1992 and now approx 25 years old, similar like yours anyway.
how come you locked ses7 sband ?
what sizes the dish ?

i thinks foot print in perth much better then melbourne, i got friend in sydney, he is using the dishes 14ft but could not lock palapa vertikal, that's weird

I don't go and look at the dish very often so I hadn't noticed the palm leaves hanging over until I took the pictures

Mind you it explains why I have been getting a weaker than normal signal on Measat 3. Guess Ill be pruning tomorrow

ses 7 I used to watch Indovision

and the dish is a 3.7 metre (12 foot)
as for your friend in Sydney unless his 14 foot dish is a cheapie he should easily get the palapa verticals. I would be looking at the lnb /skew etc .
the verticals are on this beam and east has far better coverage than perth.

That's great, did not realize can get Indovision for that dish. will try it when i get s band lnb then.

Just get a genuine S-Band Lnb from Indonesia

its for a offset dish but I modded it to fit my dish .
you can get them here as well

I just drilled and tapped four holes to allow me to bolt my dish arms on. I will see if I can find it out and take a picture even though its for a offset dish it works fine ..

I have heard of Daengsat but I don't know him.

I cant find my Lnb (S-Band) so I got a picture and this is what to do (sorry for the dodgy windows paint editing )
