    Default Connecting Strong satellite stb to a pc

    Hello. I am trying to connect my stb to a pc via a ethernet cable. It just won't connect yet it says "connected wire LAN"
    Any ideas as to why?

    The ethernet connection goes to a LAN router, not to a PC.

    What exactly are you trying to do?

    so check the ips and subnets on both they should both be in the same range


    computer = 191.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 default gateway 192.168.1.1

    strong should be = 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0 default gateway 192.168.1.1
