Default Port forwarding on netcom nf10wv

I want to view my cctv camera (not an ip camera) and from what I've read need to open a port on the router so i can see the camera from the internet. I have the netcom nftwv and followed the instructions for port forwarding but when I check it on the internet eg it says closed

it would help if we knew the dvr system for the cameras because each system has
    a different setup.

Post a screenshot of your P/F page in your router. It should save a list of any ports that have been forwarded.
Did you give tv card / computer a static IP.?

quick question is the tv card in your main computer ??

if so the last thing i would want to be doing is having ports opened up pointing to it.

looking at that pick in the router you would need to port 8080 to ip 192.168.20.2

now once that is done to see it while you are out you will need to use your ip assigned
from your isp and the issue being that 99% are dynamic every time you router reboots etc the ip changes

Google your external ip and use that to see your cam from the web.
As diavalo said if your modem reboots your external ip may change. To overcome this check out DNS server options.
