Thumbs up Fiddlers, Tinkers, Mechanics, Engineers and DIYers

    Hi all,

I have just finished watching the best ever programme for peoples with my interests.

It's called James May Reassembler. the show is in its second series and I have watched episode 2 (food mixer) for the first time.

Some of you may have known and seen this show before and I apologise for stating the obvious.

For all others who like electronics and mechanics, this show is by far better than the RICL and anything else I have ever seen on these topics.

DL from EZ pr wherever it's only 20 mins but is great.

    Luv to all

You wipe your bum after each crap, why don't you clean your teeth after every meal?

There is no shame in being uneducated nor in being stupid.
The true shame lies in knowing that you are and doing nothing about it.

To the tobacco addicts - Smoke more and die sooner, so I can breathe fresh air. Thank you.

Seen a few of them, they are good.

Most of us blokes became good at fixing stuff by pulling stuff apart when we were younger, understanding how something works is the most important part to knowing how to fix it.

Years ago when i was in my early 20's i worked at a plant as a technician with a father and son who were employed to run some machines.

25 years later they moved on in life to become painters and somehow ended up working for one of my brother in laws crews.

One day during a break they were all sitting around talking about their pasts and one of them mentions something about this kid they worked with over 20 years ago that could look at anything, work out how it worked and fix it.

Eventually where, when and a name got brought up......my brother in law said, we know him quite well, he married my sister.

After 46 plus years I have reached the conclusion there are some things better left unfathomable !!!

For a person with a University degree in Music, he has poked, prodded, pushed and pummeled his way into things you wouldnt think possible, sometimes with remarkable success.

    Yep!
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

Are they all related to left handed screwdrivers?
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
