You could always look on the Samsung site, they generally list the specs for everything there.
What is the output of the original Samsung charger?

If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?
"What has changed between the arrival of the First Fleet and today?"
"Wearing leg irons is now not required."

With the tab pro 10 you require the correct charger rated at 2amp
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"

It would appear to be 5v @ 2A - confirmation please.
It would also appear that an "adapter" is required to fool the Tab into thinking it is connected to a Samsung charger.

I'm puzzled why you should address your post to me as it was another member who asked the question.
I concur(red) with lsemmens, who advised looking on the manufacturer's website (to my mind the most logical place to look for such information).
Moving on...
The Samsung website at states that "We recommend that you use the wall charger to charge the device. If you need to use the PC to charge your device we recommend that you Power Off the device so that it can charge while not attempting to use power. The wall charger is rated at 2 Amps, whereas most USB ports on a PC are rated between .4 and .5 Amps."
So your advice of a 2A charger agrees with the manufacturer's recommendation.
