it would pay to head over to xda and have a good read if there is any chance without rooting
the unit it would be over there.
This is a new, to me, tablet. So far very pleased. It notified me of an upgrade, which was Lollipop, and when that was done there was another notification that an upgrade was available. Marshmallow is now running.
Loaded a couple of my favourite apps and they work as expected.
Now for the questions:
1, Is it possible to get rid of the Samsung bloatware? Yes I have searched but to no avail.
2. Is it possible to get rid of the Google bar? Is it possible in earlier versions of Android? Easy enough to do a factory restore and start again.
3. Is it possible to get rid of all the Google crap?
At this stage I do not want to root the device or flash another ROM.
If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?
"What has changed between the arrival of the First Fleet and today?"
"Wearing leg irons is now not required."

Wow. I thought the bloatware on the Samsung was bad - the bloatware on this site (xda) is really something else.
I must admit I did find something that may do the trick.
