Question Ness D8 - Reset the system

    Hello Experts,
I am new to this forum and security arena itself.
I am looking for help and suggestions regarding Ness D8 security system. I moved into a house where the system already installed but previous owner (I should say - the children of previous (deceased) owner) know nothing about the system and didn’t had any document.
I had gone through the other NESS D8 thread and got some useful information though I am a dummy in this area and not able to understand where exactly to start.

I opened the box for that battery to do power disconnect/connect reset + power reset. What I found that the both wires to battery (+/-) were disconnected and power was off. I connected the battery and the alarm went off. I disconnected that again. Tried to switch on power and there goes the alarm again.
There is nothing on Keypad, I guess because power is off. Looks like this has been last serviced in 1997 as per date written under keypad note space.

Any suggestion how to reset this entire device and make use of this?

    Regards

Before powering the system up ensure the tamper is open (unsealed) this will put the panel into program mode.

Hi Mac, I would suggest getting a tech out to look it over, check battery and reprogram it for you.
