Maybe it's a browser thing....
I've never seen that screen.
What browser and OS are you guys using?
Chrome 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit) and Win 7 Home Premium x64 here.

Perhaps mods see it differently for some strange reason.
Hopefully admin can clarify.

It happened when you go into a forum, say Electronics and select <Search this Forum>
A captcha would appear to assemble an image.
Sometimes it does not accept the result even though it was correctly assembled.
I understand if non-members would require a capture to avoid DDoS attacks through the search function, but not for logged-in members.
Right now the capture does not appear anymore. Also no capture if I am not logged in.
Maybe somebody quietly removed it.
I think a capture should be in place for all non-member searches.
EDIT: this might be related to blacklisted IP ranges used by VPNs.

Gone ! thanks someone
There's been no discussion with admins about this, so I don't think any Austech staff have done anything, which is why I doubted is was actually anything to do directly with Austech to begin with.
Perhaps nomeat was onto something related to VPN's if any of you using one were getting the captcha screen.
Would be interesting to know though why some got it and others didn't.

No VPN here & I have been getting the captcha on FF, Chrome & E with Win10 for at least the last year when using Advanced search on this forum. Don't get it using the Google Custom search field at top of page.
It wasn't that hard to put the puzzles together, just annoying.
Just checked & the captcha is now gone. Hmm!
