This is going to sound crazy!
Last night our Bosch Solution 16 system emitted a loud chime (like a doorbell), then voices started talking from the control panel. No, I'm not mad or joking. I recorded some of it for about 1 minute.
It was definitely a live call, but using a voice changer. A male and female who chatted on for a couple of minutes as if they could hear our reactions. A female voice said "I am a friendly automated system ....... ". And a bloke's voice said "Come on mate, tell us what's your name ............". Later they said something like "Madam, please tell me your name. Your husband sounds quite, err, aloof"
Sounded like the prank phone calls I used to make as a kid! Our alarm is connected to our home phone line, to call me if necessary. But the phone didn't ring. AFAIK we don't have remote activation installed.
Anybody experienced anything like this?
Better still, tell me how to fix it!

I know! It sounds like magic mushroom time?
I've booked a tech to come and check the system in a few days, but they had not heard of it before - and Google turned up zilch.
Here's a link to the audio - I recorded a video with my phone, and converted it to MP3. We were standing at the control box mashing buttons to try to disconnect or shut it up.
Seriously!

So what did the tech say?
Probably an alarm technician who knows that administrative passwords is goofing with the panel over the Internet service. Serious issue if he has burglary or home invasion in mind.
