Dancing old style
Hi all,
Just doing some reminiscing back to my very early youth. Bessy had been on the throne for only a handful of years and I was a just a teenager in Scotland. I had to learn how to ride a horse for school, chores and as a means of transport.
Dad and some of his army mates showed me how to strengthen myself so after a few hours in a saddle I didn't hurt tooooooo much. They called it dancing - I called it impossible and painful, I still remember one man who could, from a squat position, jump over me standing (I am 5ft 7inches tall).
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy this clip I just found.
PS It's good exercise for those of you who want to learn or partake in skiing. I was never very good.
