    Default Grainy IR security camera

I have 2 x techview 4 channel hd recorders. One of the cameras at night is very grainy. I've tried different cables, cleaning, changing the spot it's plugged into. Some nights it is worse then others. It doesn't change of the cars are parked there or not. One on the second system is foggy looking. Are they just a cheaper camera, broken or set up wrong?

    Bottom left camera?
is the cover clean, inside and out?
grain might be caused by the background lighting, it's pretty bright, try adjusting the gain control (AGC) if you can

are these analogue cameras? If so, of course they will be grainy at night. Even if it is "HD" if it is analogue you are way behind in the quality stakes.
