    Default G'day from a Noob!

    Hi all Austech Members,

I stumbled across this forum a few days ago looking for programming info for my aging GME Tx7200's and found some great info on re-programming. Came back and joined.
Thanks to those members who have contributed to the info here. I hope to be able to make a useful contribution in the future.

    FYI:
    Located in Newcastle, NSW
Traveled around the country in 2015 with a 100 series HDJ100R cruiser + off road van. Old 5 watt GME UHF 40 ch on board + 2 x 2 watt Uniden hand helds.
Have a limited knowledge but broad interest in radio comms, RC and solid state electronics.

    Cheers
    Jules

Thanks guys, looking forward to some interesting conversations. In time, I would also like to investigate software options to program my GME TX7200's as well, but that can wait - it's been well covered, but old links to programming software are dead.
    Cheers,
    Jules
