Hope not. We're supposed to get a few up here at Tindal Airbase near Katherine. If they don't like lightning, then they're going to be effectively grounded from December to March.
All plane electrics I have ever seen (mostly light fixed-wing aircraft and a couple of helicopters) has been heavily screened and insulated to prevent lightning damage. I think it would be more of a case of sticking to the general rule of 'not flying in bad weather, unless you have to'.
