Hi there,
I have a series 2 Holden Captiva CX 2012, and recently bought the complete radio/LCD setup from a wrecker which came from a Captiva LX model.
The new radio has GPS and reverse camera.

So I swapped the radio and all is well.
All the wiring is there in my CX model to connect the LX model radio, no need for extra wiring.

But when I connect the LCD screen (from the LX) model, my car flashes an imbolizer error and wont start, until I unplug the LCD screen.

So this screen must be linked/programmed to the ECU in some way.

Anyone tried something similar ?
I called Holden but they just have the basic answer, it won't work, which I dont want to believe.
Im sure it can be configured to work - Im not sure what OBD software holden uses, but that could be an option I guess ?

Thanks
