Chinese GPS for Europe

I have bought a chinese GPS with Europe map for travel later in 2017. It has 64 mb of memory and has igo primer maps. If there is enough memory I would like to download an Australian map to make sure it works. How do I go about it. When I connect the unit to my computer it does not recognize it. I use windows 7
