Well this post kinda covers multiple sections, but it can start here and if needed get moved.
with the upcoming EPL spoken to optus and available via iptv and also satellite,
iptv is fetch tv or new upcoming fetch mini,
satellite is no information until mid july when released.
Who has a fetch tv,
what are they like,
what is the service like,
does it need optus connections or can be used on any provider,
I know to subscribe to EPL require something on Optus,
What are these boxes, are they available aftermarket, chip sepcs etc.

My local Harvey Norman sell retail version will have the new model in stock by end of week for $399 same price as old model but won't have mini at all.
You can record IPTV and quality is okay.
Apparently it has the Presto, App and is rewriting Youtube app currently coming soon
Presume it'll do 4k Netflix too.

Fetch TV Retail now has 9Now channel 9 app under Catchup TV
Need to create 9now account to activate though
I have a fetch TV box as part of bundle by Optus for internet, & phone (free).
At time of installation a few years ago, they emailed me a "Activation Code"
for Fetch TV. It has FTA TV and IPTV (several channels that I don't watch other than Optus Sport)
SBSHD has one EPL game every week and compared to Optus, its same quality, BUT
Optus is almost 2 minutes behind.
Apps included are, Netflix, Presto, Youtube, Stan, NASA television, & weather.
Catchup TV does not have 9Now (yet)
It has its own movie service where you can rent to watch for $5.95 (some SD & some HD)
or you can buy from $17.99.
They have "movie box" 30 FREE movies available to watch and changed over every month
Under "My Stuff" you can watch your recordings (but only records 2 at same time)
I use mobile phone app to set recordings remotely when not at home.
You can also watch on mobile app.
It also has "Media Hub"
My box is cabled (wifi available) to network and I can watch any movie I have
on my NAS drive or other computer drives. but doesn't do all formats well
DTS encoded files don't work and some MKV.
I have question: I have seen Fetch TV boxes for sale on ebay.
Just wondering, Would these work without "activation code"?
Could the one code already in use activate another box?
Not that I need another box just wondering.
All my boxes, Foxtel, Fetch, PS4, Roku, media player etc. are connected to HDMI matrix distribution
and via Cat6 HDMI extender can be accessed from any TV in the house, and each TV can
use any of the connected devices.

FWIW Son has fetch, He's currently with Telstra, I think, and it seems to be a good little device. He may have been with Optarse some time back, but the various channels all seem to work. Not that I have played with it much.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
Fetch Multiroom is now enabled you can have up to 3 Fetch TV STB's on the one Fetch account at no extra cost all able to stream pay channels for the one subscription fee.
Found out yesterday he's with internode and, as I said, Fetch seems to be working ok for him.

Can anyone with fetch tv confirm if the Bein sports channel is actually HD? Are there any of the iptv channels in HD?
Anyone hear if fetch has any future plans for HD iptv?

Thanks pheggie. I've seen one of your thread, too.
I've asked because there was no information of their website about any HD channels other than the free to air.

I've send an email to Fetch TV asking about their HD channels line up.
This was the response. Quite a good number of HD channels considering the total iptv channels are about 40 all together...
Thanks for your email and interest in Fetch TV.
