    Default Toshiba Laptop

I have a laptop that someone might be interested in.

    It's a Toshiba C50B.
Internal specs are Celeron N2830 running at 2.16Ghz,
    2.00GB DDR Ram (Upgradeable)
    250Gb Samsung SSD HDD.
Built in WiFi and Hardwire connection.
    1 x HDMI output
    1 x VGA output
    2 x USB ports. (1 x USB 3.0)
Windows 10 Pro installed with all current updates installed.
Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus with all current updates installed
The biggest - best thing about this unit is its fast - it has a 20 second load time, thats 20 seconds from black screen to fully loaded.
In excellent physical condition, has never been dropped - no dead pixels
Complete with nylon carry case, Original PSU and a Logitech Wireless mouse - model unknown, but the WiFi dongle inserts into the base of the mouse.
I can let it go for $380.00. ONO plus postage
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

Thank you guys, i had not seen this

Seymour, can i ask how new it is and the screen size?
The only reason is, the Battery is my only and main concern
(The Mrs already has 2 laptops with stuffed batteries, hence this search now)

I googled the model and there seem to be many variants so i'm a bit confused.

    Thanks

    Hi Oceanboy,
    Your right, many many models.
    Originally sold by Office works.
This one is about 2.5 plus years old, but less than 3 - I've had it since new and it's been on a cradle all it's life so too be honest I've never experienced how long the battery will last.
Measured corner to corner it's a 15" screen with NO dead pixels
It's sitting on my work bench at the moment so i'll have it do some work and try and 'guesstimate' what battery life might be possible.
The only reason I'm selling is the bloody cradle failed and I can't find a replacement

Again, too be honest, I've pulled out the 500Gb SATA mechanical drive (well used it was) and replaced with a brand new 250Gb Toshiba SSD (THNSNH256GMCT) - hence the speed
The SSD still has 2 full year warranty through my corporate supplier, so if it died within that schedule you would have to return to me - needless to say I would replace immediately and then claim through my corporate supplier (we buy these things by the carton so we always have a few in stock).

I don't think there is much more I can tell you.
It's in bloody good condition, considering it's age, and because of the SSD it's bloody fast.
As I indicated fully activated suites of Windows 10 Pro and Microsoft Office 2013 have been installed and activated and ISO images of both would be left in the DL directory.

In the time that I've been writing the response I've had that laptop running a fairly complex algorithm and the battery monitor advises that it has 9hr 55 mins of remaining charge available
I have to be honest, I don't believe it.
10 hours is the original factory claim, I would be comfortable saying you will probably get 4 hours plus.

    Cheers

    Cheers

    Hi all,
    Just a quick update,
I posted last at 7.08pm, I guess I switched the laptop to battery power at about 6.45pm
It's now 9.45pm so three hours have past (still running the same equation) and Windows 10 advises there is 83% remaining (about 4hrs at current usage rate)
So it looks like with a medium work load this laptop might achieve about 7 hours battery time.

    Not a problem mate.
If you're going to pick up lets just call it $350.
I'm sort of in and out all weekend, this weekend - My wife has a dance competition this weekend and I've been ordered to help out.
I'll PM my mobile, text me and I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out
    cheers

    Hey Seymour
I spoke to the Mrs, and she is really after a small light laptop/netbook type thing (13" etc)
I did explain how good this is, but i guess it is form factor she is after
She already has a 15" lappy of about the same size as yours with the stuffed battery she already doesn't use.

    So i'll have to pass
I was tempted myself, but i have enough toys.
Would have been nice to see you anyway.

Yes, PM's are full, stops people sending them

Sorry if this stuffed you around, i'm sure it will sell quick.
