Any IT company worth anything will have a real time backup process to protect clients data.
Wipe away fcuktards!!!!!!!!!!
A hacking group has threatened to wipe out 200 million incloud accounts unless Apple pays a ransom. Most people will say it wont happen, most tech sites are saying to ignore it.
But I can tell you that its not hard to purchase compromised icloud accounts on hacking sites.......I have seen that with my own eyes. So take the news story and my words how you wish......maybe it wont happen. But its possible I could buy your account anyway
As always, backup your data and photos.

Statistically, if you wait long enough, everything will happen!
Nah problem solved hopefully

It will be interesting to see if the publicity brings any more news about what they planned to do.
Every (that I have seen) Celebrity that has had nude photos leaked by hackers, has had them taken from an icloud account. The fact that you can buy accounts, even in bulk, suggests something aint right.
Though its possible that iphone users are so dumb they are easy to hack, ie, very easy passwords. Lets face it, Apple products do appeal to the technologically retarded and I am wondering if it has something to do with it.
A cracking program that tries users name with "123" on the end as a password would likely find quite a lot.
Pretty sure they don't get accounts because of weak passwords (10 trials and the device is bricked) but because of vulnerabilities in the iOS system and mostly user behaviour(e.g. using the same password for everything).
Some of these vulnerabilities have enabled the jailbreaking process but hackers can use these vulnerabilities also in jailed devices to get access to hardware (e.g. camera and microphone) and restricted software areas.
That is why Apple often releases iOS updates, not so much to improve any features but to stop the vulnerabilities that hackers found, which always also impedes the jailbreaking process, until a new vulnerability is found.
A lot of jailbreaking in the past has been done simply over the Internet, so it is not always necessary to have physical access to these devices in oder to hack them through these vulnerabilities.
Now in general I do not believe that any cloud service is 100% impenetrable either, be it Apple, Google or Microsoft. There could be vulnerabilities or backdoors that very few know about and are good at keeping it secret.
Governments (particularly US) may also have a word here too about enabling backdoors for cloud accounts. Of course every provider will deny that and probably spend a lot of money to convince their customers into believing their data is safe, although most don't care much about privacy these days anyhow.

Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.
Humans: Entities that are not only outdated but broken... AI-self-learning-update-error...terminate...terminate...
