Look to the top of the forum for a message that starts with " Hey motorolavkg "

I also forgot to mention that I turned Guest/Visitor access back on.

If for any reason ANYONE gets a "server busy" message, please let us know immediately via the "Contact Us" link at the right bottom of the page.

Not that I am expecting anyone will.

Nah, I gave up when I started seeing missing posts & realised you were redirecting & changing DNS, did some work instead, bottled a brew & went shopping. lol

Thanks for the fun, what a day you must of had? Hope you can relax now.

Well, I should mention that forum time is still GMT +11; but I won't push the point.

You were correct, the DST correction option was set to always on instead of Auto detect.

Also the thread notification emails have started again for me without me doing anything. Well I got one for this thread, I'm sure the rest will follow.

Yep, same for me. Hopefully they deal with it quickly, I sent them a message advising of it.

It seems to be ok now, well for the last 5 minutes anyway.

If anyone still has problems with it, please post.

They have advised that they have been under some sort of sustained attack on their servers for the last 4 hours, so service may be poor.

If it effects us too much I will have to remove or disable their service temporarily, but it seems to no longer be a problem.

Ok, it came back again and stopped our pages loading, so I have temporarily removed their code from our pages.

This means that the link to upload an image is gone from reply/quick reply.

If you need to post a pic, you will need to use another image hosting site and when its uploaded, use IMG tags. Example [img]put the web address that ends with .jpg here[/im*g]

You need to take the * out on the end tag, I had to add it so it wouldnt try and post it as a picture.

I am really impressed with this Knownhost server we are on.

It loads super fast for me, and the server load is less than half of our old one. Obviously we are getting much more in regards to CPU than we were at our last host.

    Maybe not.

I received a complaint about ads still appearing on Tapatalk (there was a thread a while ago in which we worked out that unless you had the paid version you got ads), so logged in to our account for a look.
I haven't logged in to our account for about 4 years, so we havent made any previous changes. I cant disable ads from what I can see, if I try I get 2 paid options on the screen the cheapest is $60 a year.

I submitted a ticket to tapatalk asking if ads can be disabled or whether we had to pay to do that and I received advice that our forum plugin is that old that it is no longer supported and needs to be upgraded. So I upgraded it at around that time.

Unfortunately I cant look at it now, but will get on it first thing in the morning. I wont be happy if we have to pay, but there isnt much I can do about it.
