Came across this little gem today:
This is what we now get for having a third party repair our iPhones?

I heard a chap from Consumer Protection - (Consumer Affairs) talking to an ABC radio drive-time presenter last Thursday 6th April regarding this issue.
The guy from consumer affairs said they are looking at Apple very dimly and are getting information together and going to court over issues related to third parties repairing Apple I-Phones and I-Pads.
Results might be interesting.
Another reason to avoid bits of fruit
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

I don't get it. What do you mean by bricking?
And I don't think someone can just get away with locking everyone's mobile. Maybe I'm not getting it right, can you explain briefly?
According to the linked article, anyone that has had their cracked or otherwise damaged screen replaced by a third party, not Apple, when they download a software update for the phone, it disables it. Utter crock of $hit if you ask me.
