Yeah never quite understood that. I have a Landrover with a Ford engine in it and have never seen one with Ford badges on it.
I think the Landrover puma engine is actually made by ford in Europe somewhere, same engine in Jaguar, Mazda cars etc. I've got one in my transit.
My transit manual gearbox is the same box as in the new mustang, made in china......
