Sad end. Joanie and ChaChi are no more.

    Beat you to it Gordon.

I am sorry to read she has passed away and only 56.............
Sadly I must admit her name didnt stir any memories until I opened the link TVguy posted.
Based on the reports she didnt have that great a life despite being so popular in 'Happy Days'.
Its times like this I think being a non entity isnt so bad after all..........

The reason I post 'first' most times is because being retired I am free all day to read News reports as they come in unlike most of the members who are still in the workforce.

Gordon, I'm in the workforce, but happen to have a challenge with a colleague that developed in the 1980s.
Our quest was to alert the other at the passing of a public figure. Much to my wife's chagrin, this has extended to the forum.
As soon has my wife alerted me, she said, you have to beat Gordon to the forum.
We all begin and end; some rather too soon.
    Take care brother.

Its now everyones objective to beat Gordon in the obituaries He was galloping out in front until someone pointed it out, now everyone is out to take the crown

Since her Happy Days stardom, the actress struggled with a drinking problem and eventually ended up in an Indiana trailer park with her husband Steve Fleischmann.
Not quite the end I expected, but at least its over for her.

Not being very competitive at the best of times, I never thought I could 'win' by being the 'First with the Worst' nor was it my intention to ever do so and I invite one and all to take the lead ASAP.

Yeah, its not good is it. One thing it does is give us all a reminder of our own mortality.

Of course, if you don't want to be the one to report such events, stop looking at the obituaries! That way you'll never know when you've kicked the bucket, until someone taps you on the shoulder and says, I thought you were dead, I read your obituary.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Isn't it funny that when you read the obituaries, people seem to die in alphabetical order. Seeing my last name starts with A, I'll go early in the morning.
