Yes, there has been a number of leftist commentators claiming that the right should be commending her freedom to speech.
For one, we dont have freedom of speech in Australia. Thats why we are hosted in the US.
And two, if we responded to her "freedom of speech" in the manner we wanted to, we would be sued under section 18C - without doubt.

Watched the Q&A session mentioned previously, Jackie made a comment and Yassim immediately jumped down her throat as she could not wait to get at Jackie, but Yassim had the comment completely out of text and was like a smiling assassin (those big teeth smiling looked so false and fake), my reaction and gut feeling changed from impartiality to complete dislike and distrust in a nano second. The ABC is probably trying to be fair and impartial by presenting a female Muslim to the public, BUT i do wonder now if she is using her position to push an engender ?
