SONY KDL-46X3100 - Slight Water Damage, help pls.

Ok, through no fault of my own, my reliable 10 year old Sony LCD TV took a little drink at the rear of the set.
It was confined to the lower right rear corner when looking at the TV from behind, kind of around the AV input board.

I wasn't home and the TV was in Stand-By mode when the water hit it
When i arrived home, the Red stand-by led was flashing (which was unusual)
So i just turned everything off at the power point, removed it and let it dry in 36 degree room for a week.

As it didn't look like much water got in the set, last night i turned it on
It booted, started showing the screen of the Pay TV box so i walked away for a few seconds
On my return, black screen.... The only buttons on the Remote Control that worked was the power ON/OFF button
Turned it straight back off and unplugged.

Today i lay the set on its screen to remove the back.... WOW, about 30ml of water ran out at the bottom of the screen onto the glass surround.

I have read some info on when things get wet with this TV, so now worried i may have given it further damage by energising it.

So while i continue search the net for teardown info on my particular set
Anyone care to chime in with ideas?

I have it in an upright position now, with the back cover removed, i can see no signs of moisture, gave the dust a brush away with a paint brush.
Maybe should i run a fan heater in the back for a while?

Nothing is visibly wet, most things are so dry they still have the cabinet dust on them

I feel water or at least moisture has got into the bonded tabs of the panel itself, shown in this pic below

I would suggest leaving it to dry for another week.
No need for the heater if you can leave it outside in the upright position and the back facing the sun each day, just don't disturb anything including connectors until you try it again later.
