Looking at footprints, the signal would be very weak.

The dish elevation angle will only be about 7 deg, so you'd likely need to be in an elevated location with an uninterrupted view to the NNW
Hi All,
Is this satellite receivable in Melbourne?
I can get signals from Apstar 7 @ 76.5E but nothing from 75.0E on my 2.3M dish.

I use to pick up the Analogue Channels of my 3 Metre years ago till the gum tree in front kept growing..
I had hoped that if I could get Apstar 7 I would be able to get this one.

Looking angle from Melbourne is 8.2° Azimuth (true): 283.6°. At this low elevation it can be challenging getting a clear and obstruction free window to the satellite. Use excellent tool to determine the exact direction and looking angle to the satellite from your location. For the correct angle settings, use of inclinometer is a must.

Can anyone tell me what is the strongest TP from this Sat that can be received in Melbourne?
It would assist me to see that I could get something to try and lock onto.
