No doubt looking for a replacement for the V8 Commodore, which will soon be a thing of the past?

It is the obvious choice of a cost effective replacement as a highway pursuit vehicle. Not much else available that meets basic requirements.

Ha ha, they could do a lot worse than the SRT8 core with a few mods....
Just an exhaust and tune with speed limiter removed and easy 400kw and 310+ kmh.....

Anyone else notice something odd in the pics?

Not the car itself... but the lightbar on the roof is all blue... not red/blue.

Even if it's just a showpiece at the moment, it's very unusual not to to fit it out identical to an operational vehicle.

Maybe the light bar was supplied by the yanks, well Canadians, as part of the package...

I guess a lot of car manufacture companies are throwing themselves at our Police and Taxi services now we have lost the 2 local manufactured cars.
Yet both companies in question have vehicles to fill the gap.

Ford Everest will replace the Ford Territory
All the sedans have replacements available

Can't blame all and sundry for having a crack.

I think HWP 150 is their promotional car. These plates have been on previous promotional Commodores that do car shows etc. All kitted out but maybe doesn't see road duties. Looking at previous cars hosting those plates, they were very clean and tidy.
