That's is because Tassie is a good place with a majority of good people.

You would like to think most cops around the country are the same, in my experience (and I stress the my) just about all are pretty good and reasonable, I have come across the odd jackass, but I would say they are far into the minority, I believe a lot comes down to the attitude you have towards them, show them respect and they will show you respect, be a prick then serves you right.
