You can still access UK channels in real time by using a DNS service such as dns4me.

Programs can be downloaded for later viewing by using appropriate software.

Nothing unexpected. We've had it so good for so long now that there was bound to be a setback. Nothing many of us haven't been through before. NDS eventually mostly succeeded with satellite broadcasts, at least in Australia, but the problems in duplicating the same success with streaming are formidable. What we are likely to see is not access to streams etc.becoming unavailable. Just more difficult. Information will simply be more tightly held. oceanboy will not be alone in refusing to post any links and information he may have publicly. Let's be honest, the choice for those "in the know" is to keep the information within a trusted group and retain access, or spread the information publicly and lose it. I expect that the harder the crackdown, the more difficult it will become for newcomers to be trusted. Links and advice will be shared only within closed and trusted groups.

The huge demand for "fully loaded" Kodi boxes was an open challenge making a crackdown inevitable.

Kodi have been warning for a while they'll target free streaming addons so no surprise really.

There's really no "in the know" for the next stage, plenty of providers around will give you ~800 iptv channels for a small price.

Wouldn't be hard for another Kodi "like" software to turn up under a different name

TV Addons never seem to have worried about going with an under the radar approach and there's no better way to make sure everyone knows your name than getting shut down. So I wouldn't be surprised to see them miraculously resurrected in a few days with an updated version.

Well said mate, and thats why I have been encouraging people to setup private groups on Austech if they want to discuss these things. You can start your own, invite who you want in there and talk about whatever you want. Anything posted is not accessible to the public and the group starter, who is also the group owner, can also remove anyone they like.
