That was last year it seems.
Noticed that this year we have the June full moon right now and the solstice is still over a week away so no strawberry for you

It's the winter solstice for us Ozliens so we'll most likely prefer huddling round the fire instead of stargazing anyway.

I'd never heard of a 'strawberry' moon so it seemed logical that the rarity of it was related to the full moon appearing exactly on the solstice like it did last year but the video straightened me out on it being the nearest full moon to the solstice and, therefore, an annual event

Hmmm vegemite on crackers with a hot beverage sounds gooood right now (our strawberries are struggling to survive the frost)

It'll never catch on in Oz because there's not much apart from taters and citrus getting harvested here this time of year (hemispherical thing).

I guess we could try calling it 'Orange' (Navel in particular) moon

I have beeen somewhat house bound these last few weeks so not going out at night but I noticed it has been very bright so concluded we were having a Full moon along with frosty conditions which can make it so bright you turn off the cars headlights which I have done on many occassions going to or from work during the night. Just dont do it where trees may shadow a kangaroo out grazing on the road side !!
My days of carvorting in the light of the full Moon are but a happy memory now.........

That Moon caused some f,ing problems!
We should put our partners in Hospital for the night when these events occur!
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!

Looks like one needs more than just one little Blue pill and a can of Mother the next time this occurs, eh ???
