    Which version of Outlook?

Have you followed the setup instructions of the printer?

I hope that you are well on the way to recovery, Daf.

    Now, down to business...

You haven't stated which version of Windows you are using.

Does the printer concerned have the appropriate setup program for your version of Windows, i.e. does it support that version? Check the printer manufacturer's website.

Is your your firewall preventing Windows seeing the printer? To find out, disable the firewall (and also any anti-virus program(s) that is/are running) and repeat the printer installation process.

You really need to paint a detailed scenario for us, otherwise we are very much in the dark.

The more background information you supply the better.

Make and model of everything you are attempting to talk to. i.e. computer, printer, windoze version...
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

For the printer install I would expect you have an old printer driver & a new operating system or PC.
Best is to go to the manufactures website & find an updated printer driver for your model printer & your operating system, download the driver & install it following the instructions of the printer manufacturer.

For transferring contacts from WLM to Outlook see the following article with detailed instructions. Version dependant.

    Cheers, Tiny
