Installing a satellite dish can be illegal?
According to a report in todays Sydney Daily Telegraph, the Coroner is holding an inquiry into the death of a tradesman in a Southern Sydney suburb ' last February and any possible link to the illegal installation of satellite dishes'
To say the least this is the first I have ever heard of anything being illegal just to instal a satellite dish....could be a real can of worms I think!!!!

Here's the story:
A coroner will investigate the sudden death of a Sydney tradesman and any possible link to the illegal installation of satellite dishes.
The 24-year-old died while carrying out work in a roof in Sydney's southern suburbs in February.
Police are investigating whether his death could be linked to faulty wiring previously installed to illegally access subscription television channels.
NSW Police believe a previous occupant of the house may have requested the illegal work be carried out.
Detectives are working to uncover a syndicate that may be providing cheap, unlicensed electrical wiring services, including unmetered access to the grid.
It sounds like there was more than just a dish installation involved, especially if the power meter was bypassed, which is more typical of drug grow houses/labs.
It's not illegal to install a dish... it is illegal to install a dish with the intention of unlawfully receiving a pay service.
If a dish installation creates a hazard that causes injury or death by faulty workmanship, then that's certainly an issue of culpability.

It should be illegal to publish poor journalism.
