    Default Assault On Police Officer

It's not just Victoria. Group encircled and bashed a cop. Saw on the news this morning that they went to court on Wednesday and were let out on bail because they were drunk and upset at the time...FFS.

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

Oh wow, saw it on Monday when the Facebook Live video hit the news.
Bail seems fair, just so long as they got charged.
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!

Gotta disagree on that OB....ANY group that surrounds and bashes someone should be publicly castrated then confined IMO.

There's a lot of coward punching going on there.

I agree its wrong, but it happens on both sides of the fence.
Cops generally have pretty good protection rules or the ability to change the story.

Anyone that assaults emergency service workers need mandatory hefty minimum sentences.
That was not on in any way shape or form. I wonder why they didn't deploy a more severe self defence device.

These cowards, drugged f$ckheads, drunk wankers that continue to blame their choice of takings for their behaviour, know they can get away with anything.

I never used to wish this, but I sincerely hope and wish for, these ar$eholes kill or maime immediate family of magistrates, judges and lawyers; then and only then, will they realise the hurt and pain the victims go through for the rest of their lives, and hand down appropriate sentences the community deserves

OB. There are bad eggs in every workplace. There are quite a few in mine, but there are even more decent ones. They eventually get weeded out.

But surrounding a police officer and laying into him, is an extremely low act.
If the cop was doing the wrong thing, get the phone out and record.

If the cop was not doing the wrong thing, they should have listened to the cop, and then walked away.

Assaulting an emergency service officer is a growing issue and is certainly not on in any way shape or form.

I have spoken against bad cops regularly on this forum over the years. They exist. I have had to deal with them on a couple of occasions for various reasons. Most police are fine people. And yes, it's hard to catch bad police.

However, a cowardly bashing is a cowardly bashing and any attempt to justify or rationalise leniency for ANYONE who does this is to anybody is misplaced judgement IMO. F*ck them.
