Default BMW Engine Plant in China

Wow, there is your German Car

And a new high-voltage battery centre, which will assemble high-voltage batteries for plug-in hybrid vehicles, is currently under construction.

This is the BMW I3 plant at work

The use of Thermal Resins instead of welding is everywhere!

I know a couple of Ford Engineers from Geelong, that have been making trips to China for the passed few years setting up factories and more importantly, instructing the local Chinese what to do and how Ford want it done.
Apparently, the minute he leaves, they just go back to doing it the way they had been.

They all smile and say "yes, yes, yes", he turns his back and they just do whatever
Tells me, that every 3 months, he goes back over and has the exact same conversation as the last time.
Like talking to a brick wall. Or is that, a Great Wall

I wonder how BMW have dealt with this issue?
Perhaps they showed them a history book

So, not to ask the obvious, but I take it these guys do this because it's cheaper? And regulations not so tough?

I've been fixing BMW's for 15 years. This explains a lot of the decline in quality and craftsmanship.
