    Default TV screen

    Just a simple question :
Some screen panels have a tiny pot attached to the panel board.
    What's it for ?

Something akin to the 'contrast' adjustment on the simpler LCD displays?
Only way to find out what it does, apart from getting a service manual, would be to twiddle it a bit each way
Generally speaking not much good ever comes from altering factory trim settings though
