How to remove a motion sensor on C&K 236 security alarm system
Dear,
I have to disable a sensor on an alarm panel C&K 236 and I thought about doing it by opening the sensor and commute the NC and COM cables (that's the funcions that does the sensor when there's no movement).
I opened the densor and disarmed the system when sounded because of the tamper. I found out that there is a peculiar connection for this alarm. The sensor is also a C&K, model DT-700.
The connections of the sensor are...
Left to right:
V+ and V+ (red and black for voltage). A resistence from V- to C (COM).
Two cables connected to NC Normally Closed (white and yellow).
And two cables for the tamper...
One question, to make this sensor always closed, I only have to connect all the cables and side of the resistence connected on NC and COM?
The problem is that this one is an interior sensor and it is installed on the exterior. When installed it was a mistake and now it has to be bypassed always when have to arm system. So it is a problem because of not bypassed it alarms when for example a bird is flying nearly.
I atraca some photos. Please, help me with this problem. I home it is possible.
Thanks a lot,
Best regards,
Joseph

To bypass sensor in this setup, put yellow and white in with the other resistor wire in com.
To bypass tamper put green and blue together in one terminal.

Thanks a lot for your answer!
And a last question, it is possible to connect white and yellow and the other resistor wire in NC instead of COM?
Again, thanks
Best regards,
Josep
Yeah as long as they are all the same terminal.
