Fran Kelly conducted one of the rudest and most belligerently self-serving interviews I've ever heard on RN yesterday when she interviewed some Yank who was making a fair fist of explaining Trumps' comments about Charlottesville.
Every time he was making a reasonable point Kelly talked over the top of him and drowned him out.
It was cringeworthy.
I support the need for an independent public broadcaster, but it's definitely time to call in the cleaners.
We don't have an "independent" public broadcaster and I don't think we have for some time. I don't think we need one any more. Certainly I think it is a huge waste of taxpayer's money. It's distorting public debate, not providing any sort of balance.
Thats why I dont watch any FTA tele anymore, not even the news, as I just cannot stop cursing every time (far too often) a lying scumbag politician shows up

On occassion I listen to Voice of Korea (North) on shortwave just to hear what distortions "dear leader" and his brainwashed population are sprouting. Before going any further VOK is the most tedious broadcaster to listen too.
There is not much difference between VOK and the left tard sprouters whom infest the ABC. Most ABC mouthpieces (reporters) would be quite happy to be in North Korea, they pretty well parrot much the same crap.
Now I rarely if ever listen to the ABC, don't have a T.V.
