Really ?
Can't see it on mine, can you take a screen shot of it ?
I just noticed a small 'box' with a pair of scissors in it on the top left bar of Firefox and when I scrolled over it, it reads 'Take a screenshot' !!!
I have had a bit of a play with it and it seems to be a rather interesting option.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

On mine, what do i do with it?
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"
Cant tell my RIGHT from me bloody LEFT !!! this little icon is to the left of the 3 horizontal Menu bars in the top RIGHT corner of Firefox and consists of a square made of dotted lines with an open pair of scissors.
When its opened, its called MY SHOTS.....

It's a new feature available in Firefox 55. The feature isn't enabled for all users at the moment, but can be enabled by modifying a value in about:config. Then look for extensions.screenshots.system-disabled double click on the option will activate it.
Screenshots are uploaded to Firefox and last 14 days before being deleted. Can also download screenshots.

Thanks for the explanation, Mick.
Uploaded to Firefox?
It's not something that I will use.
I'd rather have complete control and use the <Shift> <Printscreen> option to capture a screen shot (key combination does vary depending on computer, but is correct for most Windows desktop users) as I've always done, rather than have them uploaded to the mythical/mystical so-called 'cloud'.

There is a great little program included with WIN 7 and up. Snipping tool.
Allowed you to snip any part of the screen and save as a png/jpg.

I press control and print screen. As I have Dropbox installed on my PC, it automatically puts the screenshot in a folder in Dropbox and syncs it with my Dropbox account. So wherever I am, I can access it.
Windows key and printscreen for me.
Cheers, Tiny
