can you confirm net is working with another device?
red x, go into device manager, see if it has a error or disabled there, delete the device wont hurt & let it reinstall
might have updated & got wrong driver perhaps, check windows update history?
So this morning has been interesting. I powered up my Panasonic toughbook cf31 (which was working fine all day yesterday before being shut off). I powered it up and the computer will not connect to the internet (which it connected fine yesterday) wifi switch is on computer shows that it is on and I have a red x over my connection icon. The action center popped up with a fire wall suggestion l, I chose to use recommended setting. I have reinstalled the drivers from Panasonic. I'm running malware bytes now and avg keeps giving me an error and won't run. Any thoughts?

Something must have gone corrupt. I did a restore and everything seems to be back to normal.
