    I found being 50 was an odd age in that your too old for your Children and too young to be an elder/matriarch of the family.

    My Mother cut me down to size one day after I had tried to advise her on some matter by saying ' Children get to be 50 and they think they can tell you what to do'...........
    I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
