The old folks just had NBN installed & I'm concerned that they put it in the kids bedroom when we stay over, or extended stays over school hols. Its wireless & I don't like RF floating around when they are in there. Am I being overly paranoid or is it ok to leave it there. If not, am I able to relocate the router to another room. Thanks

I don't think it's paranoid. It depends of course on field strength (distance and power output) and frequency of the wireless transmitter.
Only you can be the judge of your own competence to move it.If not, am I able to relocate the router to another room. Thanks
The video presentation at will give you some background information.
In my opinion, there's no good reason why you cannot extend the LAN cable connecting the NBN connection box to the wireless gateway in order to re-locate the offending wireless device. LAN extension cables are readily available from Officeworks and the like if you are unable to make your own.
If you don't want to do this, contact the service providor/Telstra and arrange it with them.

I can't believe they'd be stupid enough to put it in a bedroom.
I guess your parents are lucky that wasn't where the toilet was located.
Overly paranoid.
Here is an offical source for you:
Plenty of sources from other credible sources on the net, including oncologists, that shows there is no link. Don’t read the cr@p on Facebook though.
As one of the articles rightly put it, if you floss your teeth twice daily and clean the dust from behind your bed weekly then it’s something you can worry about - otherwise worry about things that you can change that actually have an effect on your health (ie the flossing and the dust).

We are constantly being radiated every time we walk around by the local Radio, TV, Mobile Phone towers, go to Hospital who have sold their roof space, office building, etc, etc, etc.
Drive your car and you can now be zapped by a Laser or RADAR beam that is either hand held or pole mounted.
Even in the depths of the Simpson Desert, the Amazon or the Pub at Woop Woop, Satellites are swirling overhear (about 4000 the last I heard.)
But mounting that unit in a room that is clearly a Bedroom or where people stay immobile for long periods is stupid and it should be placed in a hallway or briefly occupied area.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
