    O and M series heads have a I2C device in the KVL adapter that tells the radio to change the input pins to key loading mode.

    You will not be able to replicate the adapter without the chip

    DS2433 in it ,easy to copy data,now only need pinout.

    Pin 9 of the KVL connector goes to pins 5 and 10 of the XTL/APX connector
    Pin 8 of the KVL connector goes to pin 9 of the XTL/APX connector

    I would assume that the IC2 device would be across pins 1 and 5
