Default Printer ink on your hands ?

    My handy hint for today.

When you refill printer cartridges, it's almost certain you will get the ink on your hands
You can try lots of different solvents to get that damn ink off your hands, I know, I've tried them all without much success, but today I discovered a great solution.

Rub this stuff undiluted over the stains then wash off with water and ALL of the ink will disappear instantly.
I don't use it very often, it's not very good for removing paint or grease and it will dry the skin, but it sure works well on that ink.

I think absorbing bleach through the skin would be pretty unhealthy.
Breathing the vapors causes lung or upper respiratory cancer.

Just refilled a bunch of ink jet cartridges myself and getting much better at containing the mess. I just wash up with solvol type hand cleaner and let the inevitable stubborn traces wear off - takes about a day or so.
The first time I did it there was a hell of a mess but practice makes perfect
There are cheap disposable latex gloves too if a few technicolour smudges are a concern.

Because of the near astronomical costs of printing ink, you would expect it to be highly resistant to removal..........
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Household bleach is not meant to use on your hands. It's pretty harmful for you I think. But this ink remover does not sounds like any good either.

You're a bunch of old women - a quick splash with bleach and then a wash under cold water does no harm - far better than than a lot of other household chemicals. Ask Granny if the bleach did her any harm washing clothes and scrubbing the floor.

When my wife was in hospital having our first child, there was a lady in the next bed who had a large facial swelling to the side of her nose. She told us she had an aggressive cancer and her doctor said was caused by breathing the vapors of nappysan. She died a month later.
