Default Matching drivers to integrated hardware.

Can anyone recommend a software to interrogate a laptop and identify make and model of its internal hardware. I recently replaced the HDD on a laptop and upgraded the OS to WIN10. When it came to installing drivers the manufacturer's site offered numerous driver options for the various devices in that paricular model number. It seems that each revision of the model had different hardware but the site didn't match the drivers with the revision. The laptop works fine but I don't think it is at peak performance. Help appreciated.

    Try CPU-Z available from .

CPU-Z quickly collects information about some of the main devices of your system.

CPU-Z collects and displays the following:

    CPU
    Name and number.
    Core stepping and process.
    Package.
    Core voltage.
Internal and external clocks, clock multiplier.
    Supported instructions sets.
    Cache information.

    Mainboard
    Vendor, model and revision.
    BIOS model and date.
Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
    Graphic interface.

    Memory
    Frequency and timings.
Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table.

I've used it for years with good results.
