Mouse support included... made it all worthwhile.
Need like 100 of these to install win 7 64 ult
or buy yourself a house
MY first computer cost me $2500 with 256kb of RAM and twin 360kb floppies. No such thing as mention of a mouse back then.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
How old is this machine? I can't remember the configuration of the first PC I've seen. Probably it had 128KB of RAM or less. And I really don't remember about the storage.
Here is a pic of my 1st computer
I have still got this calculator.
I then upgraded to a commodore 64.
A mate of mine used to run a BBS on a 64 with a modded BIOS and a Whopping 7 Meg Hard Disk.
Cheers

Death smiles at everyone. Grumpy old men smile back.
In 1986, I went to a distributor in North Jersey and picked up a BLAZING 12mhz 80286 motherboard, a FutureDomain I/O card and 2 mb of ram ($100 per mb) and a 52mb scsi2 hard drive($347) and a special 2.88mb (Japanese only) 3.5" floppy drive that required special 2.88 floppy disks. I think all tolled (MB, CPU, 5 1/4" 1.2mb floppy, 3 1/2" 2.88 floppy and VGA card only) cost me $900 USD +/- !
My OS was DR. Dos (Digital Research)! At the time I was quite fluent with GW Basic!

Alaves, in the upper left corner it says " 89 " . . . below is a picture out of the " 89 " Radio shack Catalog. base price was $4,999.00USD apparently with NO HARD DRIVE!
To add a 19ms 40md hard drive was and additional $1.500USD, a 16ms 80mb hard drive was another $500.00.
I can only assume the system in the first post at $8499.00 must have had a much larger hard drive and maybe a tape backup! CD-Rom was another $999.00!
See full Radio Shack 1989 catalog here . . .
