Default Copy of Circuit/ETI article for ETI 163 0-40v 5A lab power supply May/June 1983

    Hi Guys,

My lab PSU is faulty. It's the ETI Project 163 from ETI (Australia) May and June 1983. Would anyone be able to share a copy of the article or the schematic?

    Thanks
    Luke

I do not have a copy of the article you require but a photocopy is available from the Silicon Chip website at upon payment of a modest fee.

Considering it's a 1983 article, the circuit probably will be a linear design so fault-finding should not be at all difficult.

    Edit:

I had a brainwave and decided to check the .

including all issues for 1983, are there for free download in various formats including .pdf.

Thanks Tristen. Unfortunately archive.org does not have AU editions of that year (UK and Canada is what I can find). AU edition of May/June 1983 has different projects.

I was aware of the SC photocopy option, but trying to avoid the $20 fee. If no one has a copy, I'll head down to my local university library and photograph the schematic.

    Cheers

Why not upload the file to an upload site e.g. mega or depositfiles and so make it available for others if interested.

I for one would like to look at the article.

At this point he only requires the circuit. Not the whole article.

I do not use those sites so no go at the moment.

    I will consider it.

Good evening everyone, thank you for admitting me on this forum. I would like to build the power supply of article eti 163 but I can not find the relay Fujitsu FRL-264D012 / 02CK model. Does anyone know which relay model could replace the originals? Appreciate.
PS: Sorry for my bad English, this is not my native language.

I will dig the article out over the weekend and have a look.
Should not be hard once I know the pin out.

Are you getting a PCB made from the original artwork ?
If so just get it edited to suit what is easily available.

I think I may have some and will need to do a search and let you know.

Hi, first I would like to thank you for the answer. I will copy the original layout with the Sprint-Layout 6.0 software making the necessary modifications. After completing the layout I order the construction of the pcb in the site . One more detail, in my Country the electrical network is 127 volts.

Just use a transformer that has the correct secondary voltages and current with a primary winding to suit your location.
