Yep we have a spate of deaths in our area in the last 3 weeks
All just stupid accidents that shouldn't have happened, no injuries, just fatalities.

It has sure made me be more aware and give more space than normal.
Still, it doesn't stop the other motorist from taking chances and wanting to launch across or into the gap i've left

If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!

Not only do you have her blessing... but she really wants another one.... and you have to even think about it?

Any argument about spending the $ later on.... she insisted. (Yeah I know... you can't win, but worth a try)

She's not insisting, but her meaning was clear. Trouble is because they are the last Aussie ones, they are a bit overpriced....

The one I wrecked had a quality that would rival ANY overseas made car...it was really good and never missed a beat. Ya gotta have ONE good car in winter here so starting isn't an issue...

that sucks the car looks like it is well kept and not some heap.
airbag did not go off because you were not going fast enough in the older cars even if it was parked the bags would deploy if hit slowly and some would go off if you put it on a hoist wrong.
so to fix that fvck up they made it so you have to be moving over 30kph.

Might be prudent to buy back and use the payout to repair.
    Done this many years ago.

Will deal with that tomorrow....we'll see. I don't really have the physical ability to strip cars anymore Rick. There was a time, but not now.

Reliability is why I was sorry when I junked the last Valiant I had, crap compared to today's cars it had almost nothing to go wrong and when something wore out, it was cheap and easy to replace unlike my AU Ford Wagon that to replace the Drivers side Headlight Globe, the battery has to be removed.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
