Question hyundai getz 2010 stereo bluetooth have no option to connect phone

    Hi there,

Just purchased a second hand 2010 getz. with stereo mp3-05g bluetooth inbuilt When clicking the green phone button it goes to Bluetooth mode, pushing button 2 takes it to the pair section. The instructions say push button 2 a second time to bring it to the searching mode to look for a phone to pair with however when I push button 2 a second time nothing happens. There is no change on the display at all.

I dont believe its to do with the phone because the radio is not even coming up with an option to search for a Bluetooth enabled item.

    I would appreciate any help

    cheers

Moved to Automotive Technology, as it's specifically related to a vehicle.

What make/model of stereo is in the car?

What make & model of your phone?

Silly question, but you do have bluetooth turned on in your phone?

I've found that some bluetooth cars do not recognise some phones. There seem to be some differences in BT standards. My Hyudai I45 works fine with my Galaxy S7 as a phone, but will not play BT Audio, however the older Sony radio in my Jackaroo, works fine as BT Audio and Phone, except that I cannot answer the phone using the radio. It will NOT pair with my ASUS Tablet. (Haven't tried it with the Hyudai, though)
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

    Hmmm... yes, I see that.

Looks like a troll to me... registers, accepts rules, posts, edits (so copy & paste is not completely identical) and logs out all within 5 minutes... classic troll behaviour.

Any explanation for the strikingly similar post, jeet4you?
